Callimachus is a framework for data-driven applications based on Linked Data.

Callimachus allows Web developers to quickly and easily create Web applications based on Linked Data. The user interface is consistent -- it is RESTful from the ground up. Developers need only a Web browser to create a data-driven application. They can create Callimachus applications locally and host it on the Web.

Please see the installation instructions, then the Callimachus Getting Started Guide. Callimachus includes some sample applications to help get you up and running quickly.

Callimachus includes some sample applications to help get you started while we write some documentation. See the "hello, world" app and the SKOS editor in the Subversion checkout.

Feel free to join the discussion of Callimachus at the Callimachus discussion group.

Callimachus builds on either Sesame or Mulgara for RDF storage, AliBaba (a RESTful object-RDF library) and uses a revolutionary template-by-example technique for viewing and editing resources. One of the interesting aspects of Callimachus is its use of RDFa as a query language; templates are parsed to build SPARQL from RDFa markup and then filled with query results.
